After remembering that I needed to finish the Harlequins allegiance abilities, I buckled down and came up with some stuff that I think turned out pretty well.

Speaking of Harlequins
Earlier in the year, I painted these Star/Voidweavers for one of my friends. He's working on an army of Harlequins enlisting as many different painters as possible, which I think is a super cool idea. I was thrilled to get the chance to paint some of them, because I've always wanted to paint Harlequins, but feel no need to do a whole army of them.
Anyhow, he submitted his Ynnari army to Faeit, and it got featured, so if you're interested, you can see the rest of his army (and some more pictures of the Voidweavers) over there.

40k Warscrolls: Harlequins
I realized this morning that I've been sitting on Harlequin warscrolls for a while with unfinished Allegiance Abilities. So I figured I should probably post them up so that people can use them with Grand Alliance Order at least.

Battletome: Craftworld
I have another completed battletome today (Battletome: Craftworld). This time we're returning to the Craftworld Aelfs. I've made a few pretty big changes to them, the biggest one being the return of the Aspect Warriors to 1 wound. I had cranked them up to 2 wounds to put them on par with Space Marine type guys, but it just didn't quite feel right. So while I have largely left their damage output intact, I have dropped them to 1 wound and made them into more of a glass cannon type set of units.

Craftworld Flyers
Going has been slow lately, but I'm nearly finished with the final warscrolls for the Craftworld. So here are the Crimson Hunter and the Hemlock Wraithfighter.
I wanted the Crimson Hunter to be an Aspect Warrior, but this would have created some weird interactions with the Autarch.
All that's really left now is the Wraithknight. I've still got a long ways to go on the Battle Traits and Artefacts and whatnot for these guys though.

The other flyer is cool because it's both a Psyker and a Reanimant. I was happy when I read up on this one and learned that it really was a "wraith" unit. It knows Terrify which is a bravery based attack.

Kabalites Battle Trait
It's already up with the rest of the battletomes, but I thought I'd talk a little about the Kabalites Battle Traits. Some armies (like the Dark Eldar) have army-wide abilities that pretty much already resemble battle traits. Other armies (like Imperial Guard) do not. The Dark Eldar's Combat Drugs and Power from Pain abilities lent themselves to this task, so I rolled with it.

Kabalite Abominations
The Kabalite Abominations (as I'm calling them) are a sub-faction with five units to their name. They are led by the Haemonculus, who can get them into combat quickly with his "Speed of Pain" command ability (I've noticed that for whatever reason there ended up being more pop culture references in the Dark Eldar than I've had in most of the other armies). The Haemonculus also has a couple ways to deal some extra damage. Shadow of the Torturer messes with nearby enemies' battleshock tests, and the Torturer's Tools have a somewhat open-ended damage roll.

Dark Eldar Kabalites
While I have been posting about these new "battletomes", I have been creating warscrolls for the Dark Eldar, a.k.a. Kabalites. These guys appear to be the most fragmented of all of the 40k armies in terms of having distinct sub-factions each with their own leaders and troops and whatnot. I ended up classifying them into four different groupings.

40k Age of Sigmar: Eldar
The Craftword Aelfs are ready to fly! These took me a while, mostly because I've been working on prepping for my FLGS' AoS Game Day (more on that later). If these tanks seem a little less potent than usual, it's because they are. I managed to get a playtest game in the other night (Tau v. Chaos Dwarfs) and discovered that my Vehicles were a bit OP, among other things. So to rectify that, I've brought Vehicles more in line with War Machines damage wise (I plan on updating other compendiums to bring them in line as well).
As usual, I'll share some of my favorites. First up is the Avatar of Khaine. I like this guy because I basically made it an Order Daemon that can be summoned by Aelf Psykers, which I think is pretty cool.
Next I'd like to showcase the Wraithguard and so forth. After reading through some of these guys fluff, I realized that they shouldn't really be Aelfs, but Reanimants. So I consulted the Tomb Kings warscrolls and made them kinda' like the Ushabti, but ya know, carrying distortion weapons.
Anyhow, the Eldar are now up on the Warscroll Compendium page.

40k Age of Sigmar: Aspect Warriors
I've been hard at work continuing my 40k warscroll project. This time, it's on to the Craftworld Aelfs... umm... Eldar. Yeah, Eldar. I've started with the Aspect Warriors because it seemed like the Autarch really wanted to be an Aspect Warrior alike. So this happened (Path of the Warrior).
And since I had an ability referencing Aspect Warrior warscrolls, I figured the natural progression would be to tackle those first. One important decision I made about the Aspect Warriors is that they are all two wound models (except the ones driving vehicles) putting them into Space Marine territory. I had to think really hard about this one, but I've decided that a 3+ save on an infantry unit should probably become a 4+ save with two wounds. 3+ saves are just so uncommon in AoS, it seems like upping the Wounds should really come first.
I'll just share a few of my favorites here. As always, these are works in progress (in case the lack of a command ability on the Autarch didn't give that away).
I'm especially happy with the Swooping Hawks Skyleap ability. I think this will be fun without being too terribly intense.
I was going to make the Mandiblasters a very short ranged weapon, but ultimately decided that it should be an ability so that the Autarch can benefit from it.
