King of Tokyo for Tots!

When you've got a toddler, and you're a gamer, sometimes your preferred board games aren't very kid friendly.  It's been well established that King of Tokyo is a fun game for the whole family, but what if the whole family includes a 3 year old?  It's got an awful lot of reading involved... OR DOES IT!?

I made up a quick house rule that the energy cubes can be spent to continue re-rolling indefinitely (1 cube = 1 re-rolled die).  I'll also be adding a "spend 5 cubes, get 1 victory point" house rule as soon as it comes up (because my 3 year old likes to hoard the cubes, so it might as well be a victory condition).  Anyhow, with that very minor modification, King of Tokyo is an all ages board game.  It's a lot more entertaining for me than the Sneaky Snacky Squirrel Game (which I wholly endorse as a good one for teaching kids to take turns, and deal with adversity, but does get old).
