AoS Game Day: The Treasure of Thindrongol Nuk

For something completely different, in July we had a skirmish(ish) Game Day.

"When the Necroquake rocked Efengie, it disrupted the Penumbral Engine concealing one of Sigmar’s Stormvaults; a sprawling subterranean duardin labyrinth with a single inscription over its gateway, “Thindrongol Nuk”.  A few days ago, a bandit hiding out in the Painted Spires stumbled upon the vault.  Although she returned to Reaper with the intention of gathering a crew, word travels fast in Efengie."

The event featured a full complement of 8 players battling it out on a single 4x4 battlefield made entirely from Terra Clips (cardboard terrain largely intended for playing D&D).  Each player had 500 points, mostly consisting of Shadespire warbands and Heroes.

The primary victory condition revolved around battling roving Endless Spells.

TerraClips made for really cool terrain because they were 3-d and we were able to build upper levels and stairs and so forth.

Here, Severin Steelheart did battle against Mollog.

Here is our battlefield before the event (we assembled it at home and broke it into quarters to take it to the shop).

Despite being entirely wiped out, Valkia's khornate followers won the day and secured the Stormvault for chaos!
