40k Warscrolls: Nurgle Astartes Heroes

Today, we'll take a look at rough drafts of some of the Nurgle Astartes Heroes I've worked on so far, starting with the Mortarion, Prince of Decay (since he was requested).

Since Mortarion is a Daemon, he gets Disgustingly Resilient.  In 40k, it seems like all of Nurgle gets the 5+ ward save, but in Age of Sigmar, only Daemons have it (and not even all of them).  So, one thing that I've done with these warscrolls is only give Disgustingly Resilient to Daemons, even for units that have it in 40k.  This is just to keep them in line with the Rotbringers units both thematically and rules-wise.

Death Guard has some weird characters.  A guy with a plague flamer?  Doesn't really seem like Hero material to me, but I guess it is what it is.  So you'll see that a couple of heroes have the Rusty Plague Knife, which is basically just a souped up Hero level Plague Knife.  Also, a few of these guys get to throw the Blight Grenades and Deaths Heads.  I felt like the Plague Sprayer would be rather too powerful throwing out 2D6 mortal wounds, but I did want it to be better than a regular Heavy Flamer, so I gave it 2D6 drop the lowest, and also gave it +1 to hit from a regular flame weapon.

The Biologus Putrifier at the moment is a lot like the Rotbringers Lord of Blights.  He can hand out grenades to nearby allies.  I may come up with something else for him to do, but for the moment, he's a bit of a copycat.

The Noxious Blightbringer is very much a support Hero.  The Blighted Bell is better than a Wizard's usual armament, but really, his job is to let your units run and charge.  Very mobility oriented.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions for these or other warscrolls, leave me a comment!
